One of the key topics of the discussion was the programmatic and financial results of the #SoS 2.0 project for 2022. During the meeting Sergey Filippovich, Regional Project Director, presented the results of last year’s work and outlined the goals for 2023.
Another important topic was a discussion on the work of the REAct program, which aims to document and respond to human rights violations by representatives of key communities. Victoria Kalinyuk, Regional Coordinator of the # REAct program, presented information on the progress of the online tool and described the work and levels of cooperation between stakeholders in the countries of the region. Special attention was paid to the involvement of sex workers in the project, especially in light of some of the problems related to the spread of pornography in Tajikistan.
Maria Malakhova reported on the progress of the pilot project for stimulant users in Ukraine, Nadezhda Yangol, Alliance for Public Health, presented information on PrEP-related activities within the project and progress to date.
